Research Study Coord 2-Limited Tenure Job

Description
Establishes, processes and develops procedures with minimal direction for performing all phases of studies with minimal direction complying with regulatory laws and institutional guidelines. Teaches and trains study protocol participants and other study personnel. Recognizes and resolves study, protocol, and/or participant issues. Prepares study correspondence that requires resolution and research. Responsible for compliance with study requirements for data collection, storage and retrieval.(006295)
Department: Health Sciences Research
Basic Qualifications: Requires an Associate degree in physical or social sciences or a health-related field with 1 year of experience specifically in study coordination. In the absence of a degree, requires 3 years of applicable experience in either health care or in a research setting with at least 1 year of experience specifically in study coordination.
Other Qualifications: Extensive data management skills or computer experience with software packages and superior organizational skills. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Medical terminology background and the ability to read and interpret patient histories as well as laboratory data. Knowledgeable in all aspects of routine study coordination and able to teach/train others.

Salary: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $16.45 per hour.
