Physical therapists are responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, intervention, reevaluation and education of patients referred to PM&R for physical therapy. Therapists also serve as clinical instructors for physical therapy students and other medical professionals. The physical therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of a physician-led team in providing individualized patient care. The physical therapist assists with department and program planning. This individual will flex to the Outpatient Therapy area and to the subacute care facility. (002712)

Qualifications: A minimum of B.S./B.A. in Physical Therapy or a certificate of physical therapy from an accredited college or university. Complies with necessary continuing education requirements to maintain state licensure. Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
