The Medicare Part B Specialist works cooperatively with all Patient Financial Services staff, patients, insurance companies, physicians, and other allied health staff. Individual must demonstrate the ability to bill and follow-up on Clinic or Hospital account receivables. Primary responsibilities include reviewing accounts receivables system and explanation of benefits to determine if appropriate Medicare payment has been received or if additional action is required to resolve incorrect denials received for claim resolution. Resolve credit balances on outstanding accounts.
Three (3) years of Medicare Part B experience is preferred.

Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years billing experience in a Healthcare environment preferred. High school education or GED equivalent required. Excellent organizational skills. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications required. IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following: A minimum of 3 years physician Medicare billing experience.
