Description

Occupational therapists are responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, intervention, reevaluation and education of patients referred to PM&R for occupational therapy. Therapists also serve as clinical instructors for occupational therapy students and other medical professionals. The occupational therapist works closely with the patient, family and other members of a physician-led team in providing individualized patient care. The occupational therapist assists with department and program planning. Current Mayo Clinic employees are asked to attach 3 most recent performance evaluations in order to be considered for this position. (005232)

Department: Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation

Basic Qualifications: A minimum of B.S./B.A. in Occupational Therapy from a college accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Current occupational therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota, or eligible.

Other Qualifications: Complies with necessary continuing education requirements to maintain state licensure.

Salary: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $25.67 per hour.
