NP or PA Vascular Surgery Job

Description
The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for two new positions managing post-surgery and post-endovascular intervention hospital patients. This is a dynamic, cutting edge surgical and endovascular practice that treats patients with routine, unusual and complex peripheral vascular disease. The NP/PAs will work as integral members of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including surgeons, nurses and surgical residents and fellows, to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and efficient hospital stays in a patient-centered environment. The NP/PAs will participate actively in the Division's educational conferences to stay abreast of this rapidly changing specialty. The roles will also entail post-discharge outpatient care management. (007197 or 007208)
Department: Vascular Surgery
Basic Qualifications: Masters prepared ACNP, ANP, or FNP certified (or eligible) by an agency recognized by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing. Or graduate of CAAHEP accredited PA program and certified (or eligible) by NCCPA. PA registration or RN license to practice in state of Minnesota. Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications within first year. Must be eligible for DEA registration. Excellent time management skills essential to this position.

Salary: Salaried - Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. *The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3076.80, based on a full-time position.
