NP or PA Rheumatology Job

Rheumatologists at Mayo Clinic provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for diseases that affect the body's connective tissue, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, vasculitis and lupus. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is an integral part of the care team that works in collaboration with other Rheumatology providers to care for patients with rheumatologic diseases. The NP/PA will work with a high level of autonomy to provide consultation and management of the care of patients with chronic conditions. (007208, 007197)
Department: Rheumatology
Basic Qualifications: Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license (or eligible) and certification (or eligible to be certified) as a FNP, ANP, or ACNP (certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date). Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice (or eligible). Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
