The Critical Care Independent Multidisciplinary Practice (IMP) is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for positions in the Rochester Methodist Hospital Adult Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Selected candidates hired into this role will have the opportunity to partner with multidisciplinary intensivists to manage a wide variety of critically ill medical and surgical patients. Candidates should have a strong desire to care for critically ill patients and some ICU experience/exposure although extensive training and mentoring will be included as part of orientation to this new role. Department: Multidisciplinary Adult Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit
Basic Qualifications: Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP (certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date) or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. BLS and ACLS certification required.
