Medical Social Workers provide social work services for facilitating solutions to the medically related psychosocial/environmental problems of patients and families and ensures the continuity of patient care by implementing interventions that include ongoing assessment, counseling, referral, information and guidance during hospitalization and outpatient treatment. Medical Social Workers also maintain positive working relationships with vendors and government agencies to access services for patients.

Qualifications: MSW required.
Minimum of two years experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
Arizona LMSW or LCSW preferred.
