Job Description
Provide supervision and support to adult females struggling with chemical dependency and/or mental health issues. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing positive professional relationships and boundaries, communicating respectfully, providing support, assisting residents in meeting their treatment goals, and documenting resident's progress. May organize and facilitate social and recreational activities as assigned, assist residents with learning independent living skills, and understands and implements emergency procedures for fire, weather related, medical and behavioral emergencies
Basic Qualifications:
Must have at minimum an associate's degree in behavioral sciences or have 4000 (or more) hours of supervised paid work experience in the delivery of mental health services to adults with mental illness and/or chemical dependency in the past 10 years. Preferably, candidates will have education and/or experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency issues. Supervision hours towards substance abuse and mental health licenses may be available for this position
