Utilizes technical/automated equipment (i.e. Pyxis, CII Safe, Talyst, PARx, etc.) to distribute medications to patients (including those at regional site locations) in an accurate and safe manner. Repackages medications utilizing various packaging machines (i.e. MPI, AutoPack, etc.). Maintains a perpetual inventory system using Cardinal.com and additional pharmacy programs and/or devices (i.e. Telxon ordering device, etc.). Facilitates accurate charging/crediting of medications using appropriate pharmacy software applications (i.e. IBAX, Cerner, etc.).<br/><br/>Performs accurate and timely distribution of medications to patient care areas using proper prioritization and organizational skills. These medications may include critical, high expense medications, chemotherapy, controlled substances, hazardous pharmaceutical substances, etc. Performs necessary mathematical calculations and selects correct components to prepare intravenous solutions and admixtures in a timely manner when required or requested. Prepares, charges, and files charge slips. These activities are performed under the oversight of a pharmacist.<br/><br/><b>Basic Qualifications:</b><br/>High school diploma or the equivalent. Valid Wisconsin Driver&#8217;s License. Have reliable transportation available for regular travel between  regional sites (i.e. Bloomer, Osseo).
