Basic Qualifications:
This position is part of our Fourth Floor Surgery department which focuses on complex surgical cases to include organ transplantation as well as outpatient surgical cases. Graduate of accredited school of nursing and possess a current Florida Registered Nurse license. ACLS certification required. Recent PACU or ICU experience required. **All associate degree registered nurses with a RN hire/transfer date after December 31, 2012, must complete their baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within six (6) years from the last day of the month of their RN start date.**

ER experience may be considered. Care of adult patients and hospital setting experience preferred. Maintains ACLS/BLS-C. Demonstrates proficiency in bedside blood glucose testing of patients. Complete acute pain management program. Employs safe and effective use of pain management agents. Demonstrates safe/skillful peripheral venous access. Job Description
