Basic Qualifications:
Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as an ANP, GNP or FNP. Or graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. Must have BLS certification. DEA registration will be required.

Other Qualifications:
Experience in Pain Medicine or related specialty (e.g. Physical Medicine, Neurology or Orthopedics) preferred. Please attach 3 letters of recommendation.

License or Certification:
A current (or temporary) registration or temporary permit with the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice is required. Certain specialty positions may require additional advanced certification (i.e. BLS, ACLS, ATLS) or Current Minnesota registered nurse license. Certified or eligible to be certified as a nurse practitioner within 6 months of employment date by a national certifying organization accepted by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Certain positions may require DEA registration. BLS certification required. Certain positions may require additional life support certification.

Job Description
Will utilize statistical knowledge, programming techniques, and project management skills in data management and analysis. Will collaborate on data collection methods, writing, and archival, as well as the application of appropriate statistical methods for the analysis under the direction of the statistical consultants. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a major in statistics/biostatistics or mathematics, or computer science with experience and/or coursework in applied statistics required. One to two years experience, or coursework, in computer programming, and use of software packages for data management and statistical analysis.

Other Qualifications:
Evidence of the use of R and/or SAS to analyze data is preferred. Formal education in genomic and biological concepts, or previous experience analyzing genomic or biological data, is also preferred.

Applies advanced programming skills in creating customized macros and functions; contributes significantly to team decision making; demonstrates expertise in accessing Institutional data resources; collaborates on study design to best address research objectives; drafts sections of grants, abstracts, manuscripts, etc. for review by study Statistician; routinely mentors new and existing Statistical Programmer Analysts; and has at least two years experience as an SPA.

Proven written and oral communication skills are essential. Ability to think logically, and systematically analyze and evaluate alternate solutions in problem-solving is required. Proven competency to work independently is preferred. Knowledge of current medical developments and terminology is also desirable.
