		<title>Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology  Job (Rochester, MN, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Description<br/><br/>The Nurse Practitioner will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides outpatient care to patients seen in the Women's Heart Clinic. The provider will work independently and collaboratively with cardiologists to provide care for women with or at risk for heart disease. The role will include initial workups/consultations with new patients as well as ongoing care for select patients. The individual will also do the initial evaluation and coordination of care for patients referred to the POTS Clinic (.2 FTE), a multidisciplinary clinic in collaboration with Heart Rhythm Services and Neurology. This position will offer both variety and challenge and will include opportunities to participate in research. (007197)<br/><br/><b>Department:</b> Cardiovascular Diseases - Women's Heart Clinic/ POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) Clinic<br/><br/><b>Basic <b>Qualifications:</b></b> Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license (or eligible) and certification as an ANP, FNP, or ACNP (certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment date). Must be eligible for DEA registration.<br/><br/>Other Qualifications: Experience in cardiology and familiarity with post-menopausal hormone therapies strongly preferred.
