The EMT-Paramedic is responsible for delivering and administering high quality care and transportation to ill and injured persons. The EMT-Paramedic must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing for the physical and emotional needs of patients. The Paramedic must have excellent judgment and be able to prioritize decisions and act quickly in the best interest of the patient, must be self disciplined, able to develop patient rapport, interview hostile patients, maintain safe distance, and recognize and utilize communication unique to diverse multicultural groups and ages within those groups. Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Current certification as Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic. Current Minnesota and/or Wisconsin EMT-Paramedic Licensure/Certification. Current ITLS or PHTLS. Other Qualifications:

Job Description:
A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the research program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants.

A postdoctoral fellowship is available at the Center for Advanced Imaging at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The purpose of this postdoctoral position is the development of an in-vivo cardiac magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) application.

Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in physics, engineering, computer science or a related discipline. Experience with MRI pulse sequence programming is required. Experience with cardiac-specific MRI applications, image analysis, and mathematical modeling are desirable.
The postdoctoral fellow will work with a team of MR physicists, physicians, engineers and mathematicians in a state of the art facility with approximately 20,000 net square feet of research space. Facilities also include two whole body scanners (1.5T and 3.0T) with full pulse programming and array processor microprogramming installed.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.
